The Primary Water Institute is dedicated to teaching what is known about the volcanic origin of water from deep beneath the crust of our living world.
This new water arrives at the surface through cracks, and fissures in rock strata, due to tectonic forces far below, adding to the hydrologic cycle at the surface, and in ocean basins. Fissures in the ocean floor, and cracks cause hydrothermal vents that release super heated water, rich with mineral content, to mix with seawater.
Geysers, the result of volcanic action beneath the surface, under pressure, spray primary water into the air, and bubble to the surface. Hotsprings, often found in mountainous areas, spring forth from cracks, and fissures, fractures, caused by intense pressure built up by steam and water within the rock strata.
"The drought that has been afflicting most of the western states for 13 years may be a "megadrought", and the likelihood is high that this century could see a multi-decade dry spell like nothing else seen for 1000 years, according to research presented at the American Geophysical Union meeting last week."
